Trending Music for Real Estate Reels: How to Find It Every Week
How to find trending songs and audio for real estate reels on Instagram and TikTok each week, which ones a business account can use, and what to do when a trend doesn't fit the home.

Any list of "trending songs" is out of date within a week or two. The way to get trending music for a listing reel is to check the trend yourself, in the app, the day you post. It takes about two minutes, and this page shows how, plus the one rule that matters most: a business account can't use most trending songs.
Short on time? Use a track that fits the home now and add a trend later. The tracks below are built into Listing Reel Maker and mixed into the reel itself, and your first reel is free.
Step 1: check which music your account can use
- Instagram personal and creator accounts can usually use popular songs from Instagram's music library, which Meta says is for personal, non-commercial use.
- Instagram business accounts are often limited to the Meta Sound Collection, Meta's free royalty-free library.
- TikTok business accounts use the Commercial Music Library. TikTok says posts that promote a business should use music cleared for commercial use.
So "trending" means something different for each account. A creator account can chase the top songs. A business account should look for trending audio inside the libraries it is allowed to use.
Step 2: find what is trending this week
On Instagram:
- Open the Reels tab and scroll for a minute. When a reel's audio has a small upward arrow next to its name, Instagram marks it as trending.
- Tap the audio name. You'll see how many reels use it. A song with a few thousand reels that is still growing is a better pick than one with millions.
- Tap Save audio so it is waiting in your saved list when you post.
On TikTok:
- In the Discover or search page, look at the trending sounds, or tap a sound under a video you like.
- On a business account, open Add sound in the editor and browse the Commercial Music Library's trending and featured lists.
- Add it to your favorites to find it later.
Search words that help: "real estate", "house tour", "just listed", "new home". Agents and builders reuse the same audio, so the sounds under their recent reels are a quick shortlist.
Step 3: check the trend fits the home
A trend only helps if it suits the listing. Before you use it, play the first three seconds with the reel's opening shot.
- Family home: warm, easy songs. Skip anything with lyrics that don't fit a family.
- City condo or new build: upbeat pop or electronic.
- Luxury listing: slow, polished songs or instrumentals.
- Fixer-upper: light and fun, so it reads as potential.

If the trend doesn't fit, use a track in the right mood and put the trend in your next post instead. A reel that matches the home does more than a reel that matches the feed.
Step 4: add the trending audio after you make the reel
Make the reel first, with music that fits, then swap in the trend when you post:
- Make the reel in Listing Reel Maker from your listing link or photos. Pick a music mood close to the trend.
- In Instagram or TikTok, open the finished reel and add the trending audio from the audio picker.
- Turn the reel's original audio down. If the reel has a voiceover, keep it loud enough to hear, or make the reel without narration.
Time your best shot, like the kitchen or the view, to the moment the song changes. That is what makes a trend feel like it was made for the listing.
Trending audio in the free libraries
Business accounts get trends too, just from a smaller list:
- Meta Sound Collection: in the Reels audio picker, look under Audio for the royalty-free collection, or browse facebook.com/sound/collection.
- TikTok Commercial Music Library: its own trending list shows on business accounts when you add a sound.
These tracks rarely go viral the way pop songs do, but the reel can still use the format of a trend (the cut, the text, the timing) with music your account is allowed to use.
Quick answers
What are the trending songs for real estate reels right now? Check in the app the day you post: trending audio in Instagram's Reels audio browser has a small arrow next to it. Lists online, including ours of the best songs for real estate reels, are a starting point, not this week's chart.
Can my business account use trending songs? Often not. Instagram limits the music library for some business accounts, and TikTok asks business posts to use its Commercial Music Library.
Do trending songs get more views? A trend can help a reel get found, but only if it fits. A reel with the wrong mood loses viewers in the first second.
Want a reel ready before the trend is gone? Open the builder, paste your listing link and preview the reel for free. It is ready in about 10 minutes.
